17 pin microSD Express high performance memory card connector is capable of achieving high speeds up to 985MB/s and meeting PCIe® 3.0 requirements. The connector enables microSD Express platform to reach its full potential, making microSD Express card possible to serve as a removable solid state drive (SSD). This new platform is ideal for high resolution content and speed-hungry mobile computing and IOT devices. It meets environmental, health and safety requirements. The card features UL94V-0 rated black high temperature thermoplastic housing, corson alloy contact and stainless steel shell. The current rating is 0.5A AC/DC max and voltage rating is 100Vrms minimum. Typical applications include mobile phone, tablet, virtual reality camera, augmented reality camera, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), IOT devices, mobile computing devices and surveillance cameras.
- Data rate of 8GT/s (PCIe® Gen 3 requirement), approximately 6x faster than existing micro SD card
- Supports card-detect function, operating temperature range from -25°C to +85°C
- Backward compatibility and interoperability with legacy micro SD cards
- New 17 pin connector design, supports next generation performance
- Dedicated pin for card detect function, compliant to SD specification 7.1
- SD host is in deep low-power mode until the card is inserted
- Push-pull, with card detect
