The waterproof, dustproof, and virtually crushproof HPRC 2460 Hard Resin Case is made from a lightweight material that protects and stores sensitive gear without the weight of comparable cases.

This version of the 2460 is offered with a cubed foam insert that lets you customize the layout for your specific gear in the roomy 16.1 x 12.1 x 6.9" interior. For complete protection, the lid has a convoluted eggcrate foam insert as well. Its dual latches compress the lid's O-ring to ensure its IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, with a security feature that prevents them from accidentally opening in the event of a fall or other impact. For additional security, there are hasps for adding optional padlocks or a tie lock when traveling. Additional features include resistance to ultraviolet radiation and acid, reinforced corners for additional impact resistance, an automatic purge valve that equalizes the internal pressure and allows you to easily open the case after air travel, and a comfortable hinged handle.
