Product Overview

TLE49SRP8XUMA1 is a stray field robust angle sensor based on hall technology for measuring absolute angular position in the range from 0° to 360°. This sensor provides digital output interfaces. Spatially separated Hall cells, which enable a stray field robust measurement of the magnetic field, and signal conditioning circuits are implemented on the integrated circuit (IC). This sensor supports PWM interfaces and it is developed according to ISO 26262 as a safety element out of context. It is used in applications such as chassis height sensor, pedal position sensor, throttle position sensor, steering angle sensor, and wiper position sensor.

  • Intrinsic stray field robustness, differential hall-based angle sensor, 360° angle measurement
  • Angle speed information, high voltage and reverse polarity capability
  • 14 bit over 360° representation of absolute angle value on the output
  • EEPROM for storage of configuration (e.g. zero angle) and customer specific ID
  • ISO 26262 safety element out of context for safety requirements up to ASIL C(D)
  • Look-up table to correct for systematic angle errors (e.g. magnetic circuit)
  • SPC Frame holder mechanism, single-wire SICI programming interface on output pin
  • Operating supply current is 13.5mA typical
  • Output leakage current is 120µA maximum at (VDD = 5V and 0 <lt/> Vpull-up)
  • Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, PG-TDSO-8-1 package
