KanexPro HDMX42A Overview

The 4x2 HDMI 4K60 Matrix Switcher with Audio Outputs from KanexPro allows you to display four HDMI sources on two HDMI displays and route one source to the other using the panel control buttons or the included IR remote control. The switcher can also extract audio from the HDMI input and output digital or analog audio with optical TOSLINK and L/R 3.5mm stereo outputs to an independent mixer or speaker system.

The switcher features a slim, rectangular, robust design and can be desktop- or wall-mounted using the supplied mounting ears. It supports up to UHD 4K60 resolution on input and output and can downscale to 1080p60 video output with a maximum bandwidth of 18 Gb/s. The unit features audio format support for PCM 2.0/5.1/7.1, Dolby Digital/Plus/EX, Dolby True HD, DTS, DTS-EX/96/24/High Res, and DTS-HD Master audio. Other features include support for HDR and 3D video, HDCP 2.2, smart EDID management, ESD protection, ARC (Audio Return Channel) as well as Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, and HLG.
