This Camera Cage and Accessory Kit for Select Sony Cameras from Niceyrig protects your Sony a6500, a6300, a6000, ILC-6000, 6300, 6500, or NEX-7 camera from the rigors of the production day while providing a removable top handle and multiple accessory mounting holes. In addition, both the cage and top handle feature a cold shoe for mounting other accessories such as a microphone, light, or other accessories.

The cage maintains access to the camera's controls and ports when mounted on your camera, and your camera secures to the base using a 1/4"-20 screw while rubber padding on the base prevents twisting and scratching. Threads on the front facilitate optional accessories, such as a lens support or rod mount.

Compatibility

For Sony a6500, a6300, a6000, a6300, a6400, a6500, ILCE-6000/6300/6500, and NEX-7 cameras.

Cage

  • Numerous 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes distributed around the cage provide many positions for adding accessories without stressing your camera's body. The multiple holes reduce the weight of the cage without weakening it, and they allow you to position your accessories where they best serve your grip and the balance of your rig.
  • The 3/8"-16 threaded holes also allow mounting of heavier accessories without stressing your camera's body.
  • A built-in cold shoe provides additional mounting options.

Top Handle

The Top handle mounts on the cage via 1/4"-20 mounting screws and features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes for adding accessories, as well as a top-mounted cold shoe.
