PortaBrace CAR-PXWX200 Overview
The black Cargo Case from Porta Brace holds a Sony PXW-X200, PXW-X180, or fully assembled professional video camera that is up to 16.5" long in the 9" tall main compartment. It can also be used to carry a full DSLR camera kit. For storing more gear, the bag features two exterior padded side pockets, two front and back exterior flat zippered pockets, and two front and back interior slip pockets.
When using the bag to carry smaller items inside the main compartment, you can use the included padded foam camera cradle which protects your camera from damage. You can prevent your camera from bouncing around the interior by securing the cradle with the cinch tie-down strap. A detachable divider can be arranged to your liking to provide internal structure and organization inside the main compartment. A polyester foam core lines the soft interior of the case for soft, protective padding. A removable interior microphone pocket is also included.
The outside of the bag is made of 1000D Cordura nylon. There is a skid-resistant waterproof bottom, as well as two solid steel clip rings for attaching accessories such as keys on the outside of the bag. This case features reverse zippers that are sewn in upside-down for added durability. The zipper pulls are moved back to the top and function normally. You can carry your bag using the removable shoulder strap or the suede-grip handles. The cargo case is made in the USA.
