PortaBrace Rain Slicker for JVC GY-HC550
PortaBrace RS-GYHC550 Overview
Custom-fit to your JVC QY-HC550, the Porta Brace Rain Slicker is designed with a waterproof Taslan exterior to prevent rain, snow, or dust from collecting on your camcorder while out in the field in inclement weather. The Taslan material has a waterproof rating of 1000mm and a breathability rating of 1000 g/mĀ², which keeps the camera dry while allowing heat to escape. A soft tricot interior prevents scratching to the camera body.
Hook and loop closures secure the cover around the camcorder, and a detachable front visor can be engaged to prevent rain from hitting the lens. Controls remain visible with a clear vinyl window, and the battery pack can be quickly replaced with a back opening. The design of the cover allows it to be utilized whether the camera is handheld, shoulder mounted, or stabilized on a tripod.
