The TVS-h874T 8-Bay NAS Enclosure from QNAP is a Thunderbolt-equipped sidekick for your creative talents. This unit has eight SATA III 6 Gb/s drive bays, all of which natively support 3.5" hard drives as well as 2.5" hard drives and SSDs. Should users need to expand the overall capacity of their TVS-h874T, optional expansion units may be connected. Also featured are two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, and two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, which allow it to be connected to external peripherals. You can also output video to an external display at resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 30 Hz using the HDMI 1.4b port. Network connectivity is achieved via the two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports with port trunking failover support, which helps to provide redundancy in the case that a LAN connection malfunction occurs on one port.
The TVS-h874T runs on the QTS 5.1.0 operating system. Supported RAID modes include RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60, each of which provides redundancy, performance, or a combination of both. The TVS-h874T 8-Bay NAS Enclosure from QNAP is a Thunderbolt-equipped sidekick for your creative talents. Driven by a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 12-Core processor, it supercharges your productivity by allowing you to tackle 4K video projects smooth and simultaneously across your team. The ZFS-based file system helps guarantee collaborative workflows and hardware expandability to grow with your business and inspiration, while the integrated GPU accelerates transcoding for raw video.
This unit has eight SATA III 6 Gb/s drive bays, all of which natively support 3.5" hard drives as well as 2.5" hard drives and SSDs. Should users need to expand the overall capacity of their TVS-h874T, optional expansion units may be connected. Also featured are two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, and two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, which allow it to be connected to external peripherals. You can also output video to an external display at resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 30 Hz using the HDMI 1.4b port. Network connectivity is achieved via the two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports with port trunking failover support, which helps to provide redundancy in the case that a LAN connection malfunction occurs on one port.
The TVS-h874T runs on the QTS 5.1.0 operating system. Supported RAID modes include RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60, each of which provides redundancy, performance, or a combination of both. For those who do not require a RAID, JBOD and Single are also available, allowing each drive bay to be individually utilized.
QNAP has engineered the TVS-h874T to be energy efficient. Not only does it offer dual 120mm system fans and a 60mm CPU fan, the server supports numerous scheduled power on / off cycles and hard-drive hibernation to further minimize power consumption and operation expenses. The TVS-h874T operates using internal 350W power supply and includes an Ethernet cable, a power cord, 32 flat head screws for 3.5" HDDs, 24 flat head screws for 2.5" HDDs, and two M.2 SSD heatsinks. Protection is provided by a limited 3-year hardware warranty.
