Urth Plus+ Variable ND 1-5 Stops Overview
This 95mm ND2-32 Variable ND Lens Filter Plus+ from Urth provides an increase in neutral density through a range from 1 to 5 stops. Increasing neutral density offers finer control in available shutter speeds or aperture settings for both still and video applications. Using a longer shutter speed makes it possible to increase blur to convey a sense of movement, or to dial in a video camera frame rate. Increased density also makes it possible to shoot using wider lens apertures, helping to isolate a subject from the background and increasing bokeh. This level of image control can help to create more cinematic effects in low to bright light.
The filter is made from Schott B270 optical glass that features 20 layers of multicoating for reduced lens glare, providing a more consistent transmission curve and optimal light transmission. It also features nano coating on each optical surface that resists water, oil, dust, fingerprints, and scratches, making it ideal for use in harsh environments, and also easy to clean. The rotating aluminum filter ring has a density scale for repeatable results, and a slim design for use with wide-angles lenses without vignetting.

Exquisite Glass !!!
I purchased it for my Tamron 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Telephoto lens which is attached to a Fotodiox Pro EOS-MFT Lens Mount Adapter, which is attached to my BMPCC Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Cameras (4K and Original). The craftsmanship is top notch. Outstanding quality all around with great attention to detail, and the customer service from the company should you ever need it is awesome! Great images every single time, even on a very sunny day.
Too big to fit Nikon 82mm lens hoods
This is my second Urth ND2-32 Var ND filter, I am very pleased with the 95mm version for my Nikon 200-500mm, however, this 82mm's outside diameter is too big for either the Nikon 14-30mm Z lens hood, or the Nikon 24-70 F2.8 Z lens hood to fit over it. How incredibly disappointing! Even worse, this is actually my second 82mm Var ND, I was trying to replace my Hoya one because that doesn't have front threads for a lens cap and didn't have an end stop. This at least fits the standard Nikon 82mm lens cap, and has an end stop at the ND 32 setting, so you can't accidentally go past it and get the dreaded X, but I can't believe it's too big for the lens hood, none of my other 82mm filters are too big, including the Hoya Var ND argh!

Just used this filter on my trip to the Tetons, worked great and am thinking of buying one for my other lens.

I love this company ( originally called Gobe ) they're an Australian based company and make solid filters for the money, I haven't had any issues with any color casting and the filters are made out of glass. This is my first Variable from them and I am not dissapointed.
Great addition to my lens
Works exactly as I suspected, own others from Urth. Rather have a build in ND on my camera but these work pretty good for me.
Works great for video
Using on my Nikon 200-500mm works great for video, on the Z9 tied to ISO 800 for shooting in RAW I often need to reduce the light to keep 1/60th of a second exposure time with sensible apertures.
