Vizrt PTZ3 PLUS Camera (Black)

Combining the simplicity and control of a PTZ camera with NDI|HX2/HX3 protocol support, the black Vizrt PTZ3 PLUS Camera provides video professionals, technology managers, webcasters, and A/V system integrators with an HD video PTZ camera for remote learning, hospitals, meeting rooms, and studios. The PTZ3 PLUS camera has been updated to include support for FreeD over NDI|HX, automated AI presenter tracking, mini XLR input with phantom power, a 20x optical zoom with 2x digital zoom, and powerful motors for smooth pans and tilts.

The PTZ3 PLUS intelligently tracks presenters, even when they face away from the camera and turn to look at a virtual or physical screen.

Presenter memory ensures the camera won't switch its subject focus, even if someone else enters the frame unless you program it to. With tracked target switching, it's easy to switch between presenters by choosing from switching left, right, or to first tracked.

Intelligent blackboard detection identifies whether the presenter has entered a "presentation area", such as one that includes a whiteboard/blackboard, and will lock the camera in place as the presenter moves around it for a more stable, less jumpy viewing experience.

Frame your talent by choosing from six framing ratios from 1/6 up to 1/20, choosing whether your presenter is framed to the left, center, or right of the frame.

Keep the camera within a set range by setting a tracking limit window with top left and bottom right frames to ensure the camera doesn't track offset or break a green screen effect.

Ideal for lectures, meetings, and events, you can decide when the camera stops attempting to track a presenter after they leave the range of the PTZ3 PLUS camera or your set tracking window, and return to a default home position. Then choose from a 0.5 to 10 second timeout, after which the next presenter to enter the frame becomes the next tracked presenter.

FreeD is a commonly used protocol often used to integrate AR graphics into live broadcasts that sends the axis of camera movement: position (X, Y, and Z axis), rotation (pan, tilt, and roll), and lens data (focus and zoom) through UDP packets over a network.

With the PTZ3 PLUS, FreeD open-source metadata is embedded in every frame within NDI|HX, simplifying the setup of solutions like Viz Virtual Studio Go out of the box. Combined with pre-configured lens files, broadcast-quality AR/VR graphics are now within reach of every content creator.

Use the phantom-powered mini-XLR input in addition to the standard line input on the camera to deliver clean, professional-level, adjustable audio directly from the camera into the NDI network stream.

When combined with NDI Audio Direct, the XLR audio connects to NDI receivers and virtually any audio software. Phantom power delivers +48V to powered microphones and requires a two-step confirmation in the UI to avoid accidentally sending power to non-powered mics.

Use multicast to allow multiple NDI|HX destinations to receive video from your PTZ3 PLUS camera without individual point-to-point connections to conserve network bandwidth.

Acquire and deliver video to the network in up to 1080p60 resolution via NDI output. Users can select NDI|HX3 as an option for better video with reduced latency, using a fraction of the bandwidth, all while maintaining the visually lossless standards NDI users demand.

Streamline installation and reduce cabling complexity, eliminating the need for a power supply with support for Power over Ethernet via PoE+.

Perform real-time, smooth pan, tilt, and zoom camera movements with a motor-driven PTZ camera control and configurable preset positions.

In addition to NDI delivery, you can capture and deliver video into conventional workflows with the camera's 3G-SDI and HDMI hardware outputs.

Receive tally notification from compatible NDI devices via physical LEDs when video output from your NDI|HX PTZ3 PLUS camera is visible on Program and/or Preview.

Operate camera controls, monitor video, manage login credentials, and configure audio/video/network settings from any compatible networked device using the web-based user interface or NDI Studio Monitor.
