Designed for light commercial installations, the WyreStorm 8x8 4K30 HDBaseT Matrix Kit extends HDMI video up to 115' using HDBaseT and eight receivers. It also offers four mirrored HDMI outputs that can be paired with four additional screens using separate hybrid optical/HDMI cables. Four balanced, 2-channel analog audio outputs can be connected to an audio amplifier or speakers. Matrix Kit features include CEC triggering, A/V muting, and a standby mode to conserve power.
Applications
- Tailored for compact hospitality, education, and HoW (houses of worship) venues, the MX-0808-KIT-V2 provides a workhouse AV matrix distribution system for up to eight endpoints.
- A standby mode saves energy when the system is not in use, extending its longevity.
UHD 4K and HDR Support
- This 8x8 matrix supports up to UHD 4K60 4:2:0 video, providing compatibility with most current source devices.
- It supports 10-bit HDR content at rates up to UHD 4K30 and multichannel audio.
- HDBaseT is used to transmit video, IR control, and PoH (power over HDBaseT) to the receivers at distances up to 115'.
Audio De-Embedding
- The four balanced analog audio breakouts follow the last four HDBaseT outputs, enabling you to connect long-run audio cable without audio interference.
A/V Mute
- The 8x8 matrix provides the ability to "mute" both video and audio output, enabling you to independently switch off the HDMI signals via the API.
CEC Triggering
Using automatic signal presence detection or API triggering, this kit can send power trigger commands to all compatible connected screens or projectors.
