Haida NanoPro Magnetic ND Filter Kit Overview
This 82mm NanoPro Magnetic ND8, ND64, ND1000 Filter Kit from Haida combines three of the most popular filter densities in one handy kit. This kit includes a 3-stop, 6-stop, and 10-stop filter, along with a magnetic adapter ring to fit on 82mm filter threads. For added versatility, an included 77-82mm step-up ring allows these filters to also be used on lenses with a 77mm filter size.
Increasing neutral density offers finer control in available shutter speeds or aperture settings for both still and video applications. Using a longer shutter speed makes it possible to increase blur to convey a sense of movement, or to dial in a video camera frame rate. Increased density also makes it possible to shoot using wider lens apertures, helping to isolate a subject from the background and increasing bokeh. This level of image control can help to create more cinematic effects in low to bright light.
Each filter is made from optical glass that features multicoating for reduced lens glare, providing optimal light transmission. It also features a protective coating on each optical surface that resists water and oil, making it easy to clean.
The filter comes complete with a protective magnetic lens cap and a zippered storage case to keep all the filters organized and protected.
