Supporting 4K and HD workflows, the VXF7 7" HDMI/SDI On-Camera Monitor V2 with Tally from ikan is a versatile on-camera monitor for any field production. The monitor features a 1920 x 1200 resolution LED LCD panel with 450 cd/m² brightness, an 800:1 contrast ratio, and a rugged aluminum housing. DCI and UHD 4K signals are supported via HDMI only, while HD or SD signals can be input through 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs. There are also HDMI and 3G-SDI loop-through outputs to send the signal onto another monitor or equipment.

The VXF7 V2 supports tally lights via its RJ45 connector, and it has three LEDs on the front and rear that display red, green, and yellow tally lights. It can be powered via the included AC adapter, via a D-Tap power source with the included D-Tap cable, or by using a separately available L-series battery via the plate on the rear of the monitor. There are four 1/4"-20 threads around the monitor, so you can mount it in a variety of configurations. A shoe adapter is included for mounting the monitor on top of your camera, rig, or cage that features a shoe mount.

The 3.5mm audio headphone output allows you to monitor the embedded audio from your HDMI or SDI video. The monitor also features numerous image monitoring tools such as 1.33x anamorphic de-squeeze, waveform, histogram, peaking, pixel zoom, guides, markers, audio metering, and many more. A sun hood is also included with the monitor to prevent glare when using the monitor outdoors.
