MUTINY V-TAP Overview
Carefully monitor your camera battery voltage with the V-TAP D-Tap Voltage Meter from MUTINY. This compact device plugs into the D-Tap port of your V-mount or Gold mount battery or plate to monitor the battery voltage level. A clear, bright display on top features amber/yellow digits with the real-time voltage level.
It can display a voltage range for cinema cameras such as the RED KOMODO or V-RAPTOR series from 2.6 to 30V, and it features reverse-polarity protection, preventing it from being plugged in the wrong way. Its MUTINY skull-logo design features two holes so it can be tethered.
- 16.4 to 16.8V represents a fresh, 100% fully charged battery (NOTE: most batteries labeled 14.4V are actually 16 to 16.8V)
- 14V is 50%
- 12.5V is 25%
- 11.5V is when you need to swap batteries and represents about 10% (NOTE: KOMODO will shut down at 11.1V)
